Guidelines

What makes a review useful

This place is only worth anything if the reviews are honest and specific. Six rules.

  1. 01

    Write from experience

Review buildings you live in, have lived in, or own a unit in. Say which, using the residency field — readers weigh an owner’s take on fees differently from a renter’s.

  2. 02

    Be specific

“Management is bad” tells nobody anything. “Filed a leak ticket in March, someone came in June” tells them everything. Dates, durations and amounts are what make a review worth reading.

  3. 03

Separate the building from the people

Criticise decisions, policies and maintenance. Do not name individual residents, staff or board members, and do not post anyone’s unit number, schedule or contact details.

  4. 04

    Update rather than repost

You get one review per building. When things change, edit it — a review that says “updated after the 2026 repairs” is more credible than two contradictory ones.

  5. 05

Votes sort, they do not score

Upvoting a review moves it up the page. It never changes the building’s rating. Downvote things that are unhelpful, not things you disagree with.

  6. 06

    What gets removed

Advertising, harassment, private information, reviews from people with no connection to the building, and anything off topic. Report it and a moderator will look.
